FANE Public Seminars
FANE bridges the gap between academic research and public understanding by hosting structured educational seminars. These events feature experts presenting evidence-based findings in accessible formats, fostering critical thinking and practical knowledge exchange. By curating topics and targeting specific communities, we bring research and the public into conversation.
The FANE Public Seminar is the academic branch of For a New Earth (FANE), a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental education from grassroots initiatives to intellectual and cultural leadership. Conceived as an open academy, the Seminar brings invited scholars in environmental ethics into direct dialogue with an engaged public, creating access to high-level theoretical reflection beyond the university.
This year’s seminar will be held in Sitke, Hungary.
