It’s time to get organized.
At the Ship Pub last fall a couple hundred of you showed up to talk about climate change in Newfoundland and Labrador. Since then we have acquired NPO status. We want to hear from all of you about what the priorities are for the province. How can we become leaders in ecological conversion instead of laggards?
We hope you will come out to share your concerns and your ideas for how we can change. We want to move quickly from talk to boots on the ground. We have engaged several speakers from the community. If you would like the opportunity to share something, let us know. We will be looking for volunteers to help with fundraising and to staff action committees on a number of issues that urgently need to be addressed, from plastic bags to composting, to weening NL off fossil fuels. Come and get involved.
